Since then, right around half of the U.S. states have introduced legal sports betting. It has lit a fire under the betting industry and made sports gambling more ubiquitous than ever before.

Which States Won’t Ever Legalize Sports Betting?
If you count up all the states that we’ve already listed, you’ll see that there are 47 of them. The only ones we haven’t talked about yet are Idaho, Utah, and Wisconsin.
There is a decent chance that Idaho and Wisconsin could be getting legal sports betting at some point. These states just haven’t introduced any proposed sports betting bills yet.
Utah, on the other hand, is an entirely different story. This state is probably not ever going to allow sports betting. So if you like the idea of being able to bet on sports and you live in Utah, you might want to consider moving to a new state.
