Top 10 Most Popular Pitbull Songs

If you haven’t heard of the Pitbull artist, singer, songwriter, and composer, where have you been? He has sold a mind-boggling amount of albums, more than 25 million of them, and is a household name across the globe.

If you want a place to start familiarizing yourself, we’ve got a great resource. It’s our top 10 Pitbull songs, so get ready to read and listen along!

1. I Know You Want Me

Where better to start our list than Pitbull’s first foray into the top 10? This song was the chosen single for his album, Rebelution, and almost managed to snag the top spot on the charts.

The single and album both debuted in 1999. Even the album itself managed to chart well, thanks in large part to the overwhelming success of the single. This deserves a spot on the list for what was a fourth album and a flagship title on his own record label.

2. Fireball

We’re going fifteen years ahead for our pick at #9. Straight off the album Globalization in 2014, we’ve got “Fireball.”

This song featured the talents of John Ryan and managed to peak at number 1 on the US Billboard Rap chart. Featuring a famous guest singer is a common trait of many of the top 10 Pitbull songs, and we can see why.

Globalization was, without a doubt, one of Pitbull’s best albums, and the evidence is that this isn’t the only song from the album on our top 10.

3. Time Of Our Lives

We called it. Here’s the second song from Globalization. This was another hit, holding first place on multiple charts after its release. It also had a feature from Ne-Yo.

They don’t call him Mr. Worldwide for nothing, either, as this song also managed to top the charts in Mexico. 2014 was a good year for Pitbull, and we can’t help but think the song’s title was how he was feeling about his accomplishments at the time.

4. Rain Over Me

There are going to be a lot of Pitbull fans out there flying into an angry tirade at this. We know it’s a low position for this song, but don’t hate us for it.

Released in 2011 from the album Planet Pit, this one is a certified Pitbull classic.

It’s not too surprising either, considering some of the talents that worked on this. RedOne on the composition team, Marc Anthony on vocals. It was born to be a success.

It might not have topped any charts, but it’s still a fan favorite.

5. Bon Bon

Now we move on to something a little bit different. “Bon Bon” might not be familiar to listeners who only pay attention to the charts, but it’s an interesting one. It came from the album entitled Armando, derived from his and his father’s name, Armanda Christian Pérez.

The album came out in 2010, and it was something of a homage to his family and heritage. All of the lyrics are in Spanish.

The album itself won a couple of awards, and “Bon Bon” managed to snag a couple of high-ranking spots on Latin charts.

6. Hotel Room Service

Remember the Pussycat Dolls? For “Hotel Room Service,” Pitbull managed to enlist the services of lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. Another of the ever-interesting Pitbull collaborations, this song managed to hit number 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

It came from the album Pitbull Starring in Rebelution and was the second single to be featured.

7. Give Me Everything

It seems as if Pitbull could predict the future when he titled the second single from the Planet Pit album. Rapper-composer Ne-Yo is once again featured here, alongside Nayer and DJ Afrojack.

This single was a run-away success, and no matter where it went on the list, it had to go somewhere. We say that because it was Pitbull’s first #1 hit across multiple charts in multiple countries.

He was already a household name, but this song put him on the map. It was also primarily responsible for how well rated the entire album was, elevating it to a #7 spot on the album chart.

8. On the Floor

The first single from the 2011 album Love? by Jennifer Lopez was “On The Floor.” This one might be a bit of a cheat, but we felt we had to include it. This time it was Pitbull as the feature, instead of the other way around.

It isn’t easy to put into words how successful this single was. We can say that it reached the top spot in the charts in almost every country imaginable. Pitbull was a substantial contributing factor to the song’s success, giving it his own Mr. Worldwide twist.

9. Feel This Moment

Without a doubt, one of his most upbeat tracks, “Feel This Moment,” was the fourth single of the album Global Warming. It’s a positivity-infused joyride celebrating everything great about the rollercoaster of life.

It did very well commercially and on the charts, thanks in no small part to the presence of Christina Aguilera, who was riding a wave of popularity at the time.

10. Timber

No prizes if you guessed this would be at the #1 spot. “Timber” is a cultural phenomenon, a song that transcends all of his other work. It was a hit globally and took multiple charts hostage for more than a month, immovable from the #1 spot.

A lot of magic came together to make this one work, including having Ke$ha as the feature, thanks to scheduling conflicts with the initially intended guest artist. Of all his pop hits, this one stands alone in how much impact it has had on music.

It’s worth picking up some Pitbull concert tickets to hear this transformative cornerstone of his work.
