These formations were created due to years of erosion. The Southern Sky Column is one of the most popular features as it stands 3,544 feet tall. At the peak of the column is a small oasis of green trees.

5. Fairy Pools

The Fairy Pools are located in the south of the Isle of Skye in Glen Brittle, Scotland. These pools are bright blue and are surrounded by various waterfalls that help feed the water into the pools. The water in the waterfalls comes from the Black Cuillin mountains.
