The co-founder of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar, who was one of the investors or better known as the ‘sharks’ on Shark Tank India, has invested in the start-up of a farmer who she had turned down on the reality show.

While announcing the good news about her investment in the farmer’s business, Thapar revealed that during her time on the reality show ‘Shark Tank India’, her two regrets were ‘jugaadu Kamlesh’ and Pandurang Taware.

Not repeating her errors and correcting her past mistakes, Thapar decided to join hands with Taware for his agritourism business. The 45-year-old took to her official Instagram account to share the news with her fans.

Thapar said that she is excited to partner with Taware to help pan India farmers show the “beauty of our villages to the world”.

“A positive start to my weekend… my 2 regrets during shark tank were Jugaadu Kamlesh & Pandurang Taware, 2 incredible farmers from Maharashtra. Today I have invested in Pandurang’s company that is working towards a super cause that is close to my heart – Agro Tourism – excited to partner with him to help pan India farmers show the beauty of our villages to the world!” she wrote alongside a picture with her new business partner.

After running a successful marathon, ‘Shark Tank India’ concluded its season a few weeks ago. Apart from Thapar, the show also feature Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Ghazal Alagh, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal and Ashneer Grover.
