Panasonic Acquisition of AI logistics firm Blue Yonder for

American AI Supply Chain Software Company Blue Yonder will be now under Panasonic arms, where company have invested 7.1 Billion Dollar, which makes it wholly owned subsidiary of Panasonic. Earlier company have having only 20% stake in the former, according to source its one of biggest deal by Panasonic in its history.

More than 3000 clients are being served by Blue Yonder where some of the premium names which includes multinationals Walmart and Coca Cola as well as airlines and couriers such as FedEx.

“The need for more intelligent, autonomous and edge-aware supply chains has been dramatically heightened by the Covid-19 pandemic,” Panasonic said in a statement, citing “drastic shifts in supply demand” due to virus lockdowns.
